Do you think exposure to this type of media in young children conditions them to appreciate traditional ie - non electronic illustration, less?
There are some beautiful picture books out there verging on being art (if they aren't considered so already!) so will the little ones shun these for technology I wonder?
I think it's fascinating and the software looks fun but I think the book housing is somewhat redundant. I'm not sure it would lose much by just being an iPhone app.
I think that the software is beautiful and creative. But when you think about it, only those who really appreciate the illustrations in the picture books will read the picture books- and that's what the books are meant for: to be appreciated.

I think beautiful picture books will always have a place - both for children and adults.
